Implementation period: 01.10.2019 – 28.02.2022
Assistance program: ERASMUS+
Project number: 2019-1-UK01-KA204-062090
Project presentation:
The project contributes to increase the skills and competences of adult educators in fostering the application of the methodology of participatory learning within the community based approach and praxis. One of the tools that will be particularly taken into account in this learning process is the use of Digital Storytelling, which implicitly brings the increment of digital competences. It will directly reach 400 educators across the UK, Ireland, Italy, Greece and Spain, and create a high profile educational platform to reach many more. These educators will facilitate ‘Digital Photo Stories’ projects with over adult 2000 learners. This will create a bridging of participatory education with new digital learning.
This aim will be achieved through:
- the development of skills and competences in adult educators to deliver more engaging digital contents in their community based intervention
- the learning process is meant to produce over 40 new digital storytelling contents
- a learning and experiential laboratory to test the findings behind the outputs, and bring the contents for the final practical toolkit.
Target groups:
- educators and professionals in the context of community interventions using the participatory learning approach and praxis
Project outputs:
- O1 A methodological guide “Understanding the Participatory and Digital Learning: Guide for Adult Educators”
- O2 the “DEPAL Toolkit: How to deliver engaging digital education for Adult Learners”
